Marzipan : History Recipe from Versilia
Ingredients :
400 g blanched almonds
400 g sugar
4 eggs whites
Preparation :
Finely chop the almonds and place them in a bowl add the sugar and mix well
Beat the eggs whites until stiff and gently fold them into the almonds
Pour the mixture into a lightly buttered nonstick cake pan
Bake at moderate heat for 15 - 20 minutes
