On 9 August of each year in Seravezza the great tan is made that consists<\/p>\n\n\n\n

in the lighting of large piles of wood inside the river of the city of Seravezza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The great tan is the first event to celebrate the patron saint of Seravezza San Lorenzo that<\/p>\n\n\n\n

it is celebrated on August 10th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, even the evening of 9 August is full of initiatives, in addition to the tan, the ''Stunned on the <\/p>\n\n\n\n

river\" will take place where you can taste the typical dishes of the area and the solemn procession <\/p>\n\n\n\n

followed by fishing for charity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feast of San Lorenzo - the day after the tan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On 10 August there will be the real party in honor of San Lorenzo in which the small town of Seravezza<\/p>\n\n\n\n

prepares for the most anticipated party of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the day there will be the fair with banquets from all over Italy and the evening continues with<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the \"Stunned on the river\" the charity bingo, fireworks, which make children fall in love, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

several concerts to entertain the public throughout the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is advisable to arrive early as the town does not have many parking spaces, besides many<\/p>\n\n\n\n

roads are closed to allow pedestrian crossings, and finding parking can be difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n
