Levigliani wine and art is an event that takes place every year in the small village<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of the upper Versilia which makes the event even more impressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event always takes place on the first weekend of August this year on<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.6 and 7 August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is an opportunity to taste the typical local products<\/p>\n\n\n\n

in fact, the event is a real path through the small alleys<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of the country to discover locally produced wines and beers and the fantastic ones<\/p>\n\n\n\n

local products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The path through the village is very impressive and lit only by torches and candles<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for a truly magical atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Levigliani, a land of wine and art<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Levigliani is a village in the hamlet of Stazzema inhabited since very ancient times, as evidenced by<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the ancient archaeologists' finds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The village has been a holiday destination for many years to seek shelter from the summer heat, after<\/p>\n\n\n\n

opening to the public of the Antro del Corchia, an ancient cave, tourism has increased significantly,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

moreover Levigliani is a starting point for excursions that lead to the 2 highest peaks<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of the Apuan Alps: the Pania della Croce and the Corchia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The economy of the country before tourism was centered on the extraction and processing of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

marble then increased by the discovery of a quicksilver mine or mercury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides being able to visit the former mercury mine there are very interesting museums among which <\/p>\n\n\n\n

stand out the museum on the extraction of marble: \"working free\" and the museum dedicated to the <\/p>\n\n\n\n

history of uses of marble in the world: folded stone.<\/p>\n\n\n
