Orecchiella Park - Natural reserve
The Orecchiella Park in a Natural reserve located between the Apuan Alps, precisely
in the municipalities of San Romano Garfagnana and Villa Collemandina.
The nature reserve has undergone a process of reintrodutions of animal ad plant species.
In addition to the paths divided by difficult, lenght and points of interest, the park offers various activities.
In fact inside de park there is the naturalistic museum and the house of birds of prey
where you can admire and socialize with splendid bird of prey, as well as several bars and kiosks where
being able to buy local products such as cakes, jams and mushroom.
Some animals that could not be reintroduced to nature in the wild live
inside the park in large enclosures visible from one of the paths, incuding some roe deer,
mouflons and even a bear!
The Orecchiella park is the right opportunity to get in touch whit nature trough
its unspoilerd landscapes and the animals that live there.
It is strictly forbidden to leave litter on the groun, and whoever breack this rule will be sanctioned with severe fine.
It is also forbidden to pick rare flowers.
